How does the machine work ?

Connection of the machine: The unit is qualitiy tested before delivery. The distillation Unit is inside completely wired and uses a own central control board. The control of the machine is done by electric mechanic control parts made by common companies. The connection to main power supply can be done by a normal electrician. We deliver a wiring diagramm with all necessary information.
With delivery we supply a 5m long cable for your installation.

Filling by hand: The loading of the distillation unit BS takes place manually. In order to reach the tank opening, the lid is opened. Before loading, a particular plastic bag can be clamped with a bag holder into the distillation tank. After the distillation process the distillation bag containing the solid residue can be lifted out easily. The bag and the solids can be disposed afterwards. Loaded will be up to a inside marking  21 or 31 liter.

Automatic operation:  The BS works automatically. During automatic distillation the tank capacity is evaporated gradually. The automatic process runs for a time, as the timer for the distillation time was adjusted. Afterwards the heating switches off automatically. Distillation needs according to experience for a full filling approx. 2-6 hours time. It needs approx. 1 hr., until first clean solvent is recovered.

Cook out into dry solids: The length of the distillation cycle is adjusted  by timers. If dry residue is desired, then only the heating time is to be extended. In many case all in the tank existing solvents do evaporate fully up to a concentrate or to a dry solid content. The length of this time is selected regarding experiences. It has the be checked here the thermal stability of all materials and liquids which are distilled before operating. After switching off the plant it is ready for emptying.

Drainage with bags and cleaning: When the light “Cycle end”  indicates end of the distillation process a cool down phase has to be started. After that the plastic bag with its residue can be lifted out easily from the distillation unit. According to experience, the emptying with bags and cleaning takes only few minutes time. Afterwards the plant is ready again for operation and can be started with new dirt solvent. According to type and share of contamination, material resistance and solvent composition a bag can be used up to several times.

We recommend the BS-21 for a 8 hr shift with 20 l solvent
